We’re looking for a talented Digital Account Manager to join our expanding marketing team based at our central Chester HQ!

Due to a fantastic period of impressive growth for the agency, achieved through new client wins and retention, we are now seeking an experienced digital account manager to join our award-winning Clicky team in a lively, exciting and fast-paced environment.

Working as part of the marketing team, the ideal candidate will preferably have at least 3 years experience in a similar position at a digital agency. This unique role will play an integral part in our marketing team and will lead the team on all aspects of our key client strategies, from communication and management to performance and results.

The successful candidate will be working with some of our biggest client accounts across a variety of sectors. The role will involve working directly with clients and our team of in-house specialists, ensuring that client strategies and long-term goals are at the core of what we deliver whilst ensuring consistent satisfaction.

The role would suit an individual who has several years experience within a client facing role and a sound understanding of digital marketing channels, platforms, best practice and principles. You will be results driven, highly motivated and will need to hit the ground running from day one. Achieving results, delivering to the highest standard on time and keeping our brilliant clients happy must be the core priority, so we are looking for a real passion and proven results in these areas.

You will work closely with the Head of Marketing on a day to day basis and need to take a lead on your client accounts.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Fully manage and coordinate all client campaigns across deadlines, budget and delivery
  • Manage several key marketing agency clients at any time
  • Be flexible to both the agency and client needs
  • Lead account teams on client goals and requirements and ensure strategies are at the heart of everything you do and align with client aims
  • Confidence and experience in being able to understand and read your clients. This will include understanding and managing client expectations, position within the business, what their overall business focus is, who their main audience is and how they market themselves
  • Ensure client communication is key in your day to day work
  • Responsive to client requirements and questions
  • Be aware of all client renewals and ensure you plan ahead with account teams
  • Seek new client opportunities through growing your relationship with your clients
    and be mindful of the client goal
  • Be vocal in being assigned to new client accounts and ensure there is a smooth
    transition from sale to on-going management
  • Be deadlines driven and ensure both clients and account teams work to agreed
    deadlines
  • Have confidence in the intelligent planning, pitching and subsequent delivery of a
    results focus digital strategy

What you will need:

  • An understanding of PPC, SEO, Display Advertising and Social Media
  • Experience in working on and managing long-term strategies
  • Experience of working with numbers and confidently reporting back to clients on
    performance updates
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Be extremely organised and have an unmatched attention to detail
  • A passion for the digital world and client satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills both on the telephone and face to face for external
    and internal relationships
  • The ability to pitch at all levels
  • An ability to work on your own initiative, under pressure and to deadlines
  • A consistently positive and proactive natureThose who are invited to interview will need to be able to demonstrate;
