We are looking for an exceptional individual, for the position of Principal, to lead the School on the next stage of its journey. The Principal is responsible to the Board of Trustees for the overall leadership and management of the organisation. The Principal will:
- Lead the organisation, developing and delivering a strategic vision for the Academy in consultation with senior staff and the Trustees, and ensuring that its aims, principles and charitable purpose is maintained in all its work and decisions.
- Have overall responsibility for monitoring internal communications both within and between the teams that make up the Academy’s structure.
- Have oversight of the strategy and delivery of all
the Academy’s offerings, ensuring the quality of all programmes and the highest possible level of support and pastoral care for its students - Have overall responsibility for the financial operations of the Academy.
- Working closely with the Vice Principal, oversee and assess development opportunities and work with the appropriate teams on the implementation of those that are taken forward.
- Oversee the successful maintenance of institutional approval (assuming this has been achieved)
- Maintain a knowledge of sector developments
and best practice, communicating this to Trustees, managers and staff as appropriate.
