Rare chance for a budding sales executive to join this highly respected media brand’s successful advertising sales department. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate first-class sales ability, and are excited and keen to join a leading media business and further develop their sales career. Based in the UK headquarters in Central London, the role will involve managing and developing an existing client base of clients as well as introducing new business and new revenue lines across both print and digital media products, in addition to the following:
- Developing a strong understanding of the complete media portfolio
- Developing a clear understanding of your market place and competitors
- Growing knowledge of your client base and their position within the marketplace
- Developing knowledge of spend levels for your sectors and clients
- Building strong relationships with all of your client remit over the phone
- Assisting field sales reps by working with their clients whilst they are out on meetings
- Assisting field sales reps with the development of new initiatives and sectors
Essential skills required:
- Previous sales experience gained in a proactive and target driven environment
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- Clear and concise communication
- IT Literacy
- Determination to succeed
- Proactive and target driven approach
