Senior Programme Manager – Service Redesign
Salary: 8b £46,164 - £ 57,069 pa
We are a large and forward-looking CCG, with a commitment to collaborative system leadership. We’re now looking for an experienced, motivated and inspiring professional to join our progressive organisation. Working in the Transformation and Service Redesign Directorate, this is a key role in the development and delivery of the CCG’s strategic plans for improving the health and care for the population of Gloucestershire.
You will combine your work as a Programme Manager for a clinical programme (or programmes) with a broad leadership role providing professional supervision of programme managers, project managers and support staff. You will be responsible for delivering transformation that improves health and wellbeing outcomes, enhanced joined up care and patient experience whilst securing sustainable health services. We review annually the priority clinical programmes in line with our strategic objectives and currently the active clinical programmes are Musculoskeletal, Cancer, Respiratory, Circulatory, Eye Health and Diabetes.
Your broad experience and professional expertise will be essential in guiding the application of programme management and service redesign approaches to ensure successful delivery. Your ability to form strong working relationships with senior clinical and managerial partners across the health community means you can engage with key people over sensitive, complex, contentious and confidential issues as these arise.
You must demonstrate knowledge of the current health and social care system within Gloucestershire, the aims and aspirations of the CCG together with a clear understanding and grasp of current national health policy and structure. The successful applicant will also be required to deputise for the Associate Director of Service Redesign.
For more information and discuss the role further, please contact Kathryn Hall, Associate Director of Service Redesign on 07917 596942
Closing date: 24th January 2016
