VentureFuel is looking for a self-motivated, ambitious, media innovator to grow our booming company. This position will be responsible for ad sales on the East Coast, report directly to the Founder and is based in our HQ in New York, NY. This is a phenomenal opportunity to get in at the ground floor of one of the hottest companies in media/advertising.

Description

You will be expected to get meetings with planners and client direct. You will be expected to present multiple types of companies in a fun and engaging way. You will be asked to think on your feet, have opinions and be a resource for advertisers and agencies.

 

You will own the sales process from research and understanding which brands to target, to meeting outreach, presenting, building relationships, following up, handling the slew of questions to sell something brand new and finally closing the deal!

Our successful Entrepreneur/Sales Guru/ All Around Rockstar must be confident interfacing with individuals of all levels; both internally and externally, take part in internal brainstorms and work in a fast-paced, self-starter environment. The Rockstar is the face of VentureFuel and the liaison between the advertisers and the companies that we represent. You will be expected to orchestrate internal resources to ensure all of our campaigns exceed the advertiser’s expectations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Stay up to speed on industry trends
  • Secure senior level planner and client-direct meetings
  • Own the RFP process
  • Develop custom marketing ideas on a pro-active basis using our innovative experiential and digital clients
  • Responsible for monitoring the performance of sold campaigns against delivery and revenue fulfillment using 3rd party reporting systems
  • Coordinate all weekly reporting to be sent to the clients
  • Work with Founder to ensure that campaigns are invoiced and paid on time as well as manage any issues or discrepancies that arise

 

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in advertising/media
    • This can be @ an agency on the planning side
    • This can be in sales
    • Ability to be the CEO of your own position
    • Eagerness to work in a fast-paced rapidly changing team environment
    • Exceptional professional communication skills, both oral and written
    • BA or BS degree or equivalent experience
    • Understanding of each component of the sales process from start to finish across multiple departments, divisions and personalities
    • Strong portfolio of previous integrated campaigns
    • Passionate about providing customer service
    • Demonstrate ability to exercise broad judgment and flexibility in balancing program requirements, deadlines, and keeping people and projects moving on schedule
    • Strong attention to detail, organized and driven
    • Must be a self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial mindset
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Team player that has a can-do-anything mentality
